The White Stripes Icky Thump Review

The White Stripes Icky Thump Review
The White Stripes released Icky Thump on June 19th and I’ve listened to it for some time now. I think it’s unique in sound using different instruments and another great album that seems to have a lot of hits with their catchiness. While I don’t think it’s a good album in relative to their other works like “Get Behind Me Satan” or “Elephant” or actually anything they’ve done before it’s just a notch down from great to good. There’s nothing wrong with having a good album but while experimentation is good there just wasn’t as much to get addicted to. I am trying to be careful here, as I am not trying to bash them but just trying to get my point across.

A song I really liked on the album is I’m Slowly Turning Into You. Check it out below. This album gets 4 out of 5 from me.

I am going to see The White Stripes tonight at 8 at the Molson Amphitheater. This time I am going to bring my camera and let’s hope I get good pictures!
