Fever Marlene – Civil War
Fever Marlene is a band out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and I had the opportunity to listen to some of their tracks after their record label/managers from RevPop sent an e-mail to various bloggers (apparently we’re special?).
Anyway Fever Marlene are a two-piece band that I would say is indie pop rock with a heavy amount of electronics involved with their songs.
Their manager actually e-mailed me a few weeks ago and I wasn’t too excited as my first impressions were “meh” and I couldn’t really start to like them. I decided to give a couple of songs a listen and the catchy poppy style finally reeled me in.
Specifically the song “When Daniel Goodings Made It Rain” there was just something addictive there with the catchiness. It is probably my favorite song off Civil War. The album Civil War seems a bit repetitive at times but there are some decent tracks that deserve some praise.

I actually heard WE ARE ALL COLORS the other day on the radio. But they didn’t give the bands name.
How can we get the CD ?
