Bonjour! Hi!

I’m from Montreal and I’m doing a “road trip” with Ladytron. I first saw them in Montreal on July 2, then saw them in Quebec City on July 3 and I’m going for Ottawa blues fest tomorrow.

The show is excellent. Lights effects are magic. No joke! Behind them, there is a kind of wall full of orange lights, that could seen as stars in the galaxy. Ladytron’s guy in front are kind of shadowy figures (like ghosts…). The effect remember me the presence of celest objects, too. It’s amazing.

The set list is clever and I danced a lot. I appreciated so much in Quebec City when Mira and Helen were laughing together. Don’t know exactly why, but I was so happy to see that!

Personnaly, I wish that I will one day once listen to “Commodore Rock” live. Maybe am I the only one here, but I have to tell it!

I’m so exciting to see Ladytron on an outside scene tomorrow. I imagine everything. The show will be at 6pm, on daylight, so the atmosphere will be totally different.

Ladytron are consistently good. Search out their cover version of the Human League’s “Open your Heart”. File next to Client and the recent Long Blondes Album, “Couples”.

Saw Ladytron at Bonnaroo last weekend with ten thousand other sweaty stoners in a muddy tent in the middle of the sweltering Tennessee afternoon – completely different (in a great way) synth vibe than the rest of the festival – favorite song of their set was Seventeen, which had everyone singing along. Highly recommend their show. p.s. good blog / good contest.
