The better of the two new songs.

Not the most danceable but my favorite.
#11 You Me Dancing by Los Campesinos! (myspace/video -ep version)
It takes long to get started but worth the wait.

Best track off the amazing London Zoo.

Number 4 of my 2007 list.
#17 These Few Presidents by Why? (myspace/live)
“Even if I haven’t seen you in years, yours is a funeral I’d fly to from anywhere” – had to break my rule for that line.

It’ll be ironic if they have a coke habit.

They do know how to make a decent pop song.

Emotions of a simple dance, captured perfectly.

Awesome, man. Thanks for posting such an indepth list; I’m always so curious to hear what everyone was listening to the year past, and my life gets so much easier when you post it all like this.
Thanks for the M83 tracks, too. Someone told me they were awesome, and I hadn’t yet gotten to check them out. Turns out they were right — “Kim & Jessie” is surely going on my top 50 tracks of 2008 after just 3 listens.
