Spoon – Got Nuffin MP3 Review
Spoon’s album Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga was pretty good. Having been released in 2007, it received critical acclaim. Personally, when checking out the album now, it’s pretty good but I’ve barely touched it in a long time. It was a good brand of indie pop.
Spoon released an EP on June 30th and the first track is Got Nuffin. I wanted to check out the track at the very least.
Got Nuffin seems to lack some spice. With a down tempo starting, it’s a departure it seems from what I heard on Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga. The guitar riff is nice but it just feels like something is missing on this track. It is a lot less entertaining then most songs on the aforementioned album. The strong point of the song is by far the guitar work. There seems to be a lack of life in the song either that or the band is holding back.
I’m jus not digging this song really.
