Jay-Z is back! This time coming with a verbal assault aimed at the plague of generic and commercial raps that are drowning in the played out hype of auto-tune. As stated, ‘D.O.A (Death of Auto-Tune)’ isn’t geared to be a hit single, but more a slap in the face to the hordes of non-talented people (I can’t even call them artists) that are steadily destroying the hip hop game. A message to these clowns, that there is no hiding from the development of actual skill through hard work, and the true heads will always stand tall against the garbage.

‘D.O.A (Death of Auto-Tune)’, which is set for release on The Blueprint³ this September on Live Nation, brings a raw and in-your-face approach and a musical backing which is gritty and packed with horn blasts over crashes from a live drum kit – none of this over-produced nonsense.
Jay-Z attacks with full force in what might become an anthem against over-used auto-tune as a tool for the under-skilled.
