Radiohead Giveaway: Win Collectors Editions of Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail to the Thief

We’ve got an exciting contest to offer today. Our era’s best band has had their albums reissued by by Capitol records. So we’ve got a special contest, we’re giving away all 3 special collector editions of Radiohead’s Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief.

I could talk forever about Radiohead, and these albums come at the stage of where the band started experimenting much more. I could go on forever (to stop myself here) so here are the contest rules:
1. US residents only (apologies to our Canadian contingent)
2. Enter by commenting on this post.
3. Must include a valid e-mail address.
4. Winner selected by random draw and will be contacted by email.
5. Winner receives the Collectors Edition of Kid A, Amnesiac and Hail To The Thief for a total of 6 CDs.
6. Contest ends, September 18th.

   My son is 17 and respects that I’m really into Radiohead and he kind of likes them too, but has never really made much of an effort to figure out why they’re so important. Unfortunately, he finds that his peers claim to be Radiohead fans, but when quizzed as to why, they become even more articulate than usual and seem to know nothing of their music. In other words, Radiohead is the band of the empty-minded posers and, fair or not, it keeps him from embracing their music. This giveaway, should we win it, might be just the trick to get him to settle down and hear the band out!

    Just bought Kid A collector’s edition this weekend for $19, it was worth the money. I already own the album digitally but not the live recordings they had included. I love this band.

    best band! all these reissues/special editions are kind of crazy/scary, but hell- i want them all anyway. i still have all my original copies of all the albums and probably wouldn’t drop any cash for the collectors editions, but they would be nice to own- especially for free.
