Frightened Rabbit – Swim Until You Can’t See Land MP3
Frightened Rabbit’s Midnight Organ Fight was an easy choice for my album of the year and I still think it’s stood the test of time and it will truly be one of my favourite albums…ever. That said expectations are sky high for Frightened Rabbit as they prepare for the follow-up, The Winter Of Mixed Drinks due out next year. For now they give us a peek with Swim Until You Can’t See Land and I am of course EXCITED. Caps being necessary of course.
While they are likely headed for disappointment, because there’s nowhere else to go – Swim Until You Can’t See Land is a strong track, it contains the same fragility and honest style that brought Frightened Rabbit success while sounding better. Not that better quality was a necessity with these guys but it does sound pretty good nonetheless. I’m enjoying it.
