Phoenix Fences Nujax Remix- MP3 review
Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix is one of my favourite albums period, so to take a song from that album and make it better speaks loudly to the ability of a DJ. But thankfully Montreal based duo Nujax has done it again with their remix of Fences (which I felt was a bit slow for the album) by taking the song and making it a bit more upbeat. I really love the acoustic guitar in the beginning, the drums, the beats, fuck everything really. Just an all around great song. But what really does it for me, is that it doesn’t build and build and not hit you with a hard beat, but its not overly electroey so that you can only enjoy it when you are trashed. I listen to it on my ipod and I would rock out hard to it in a club, so really whats not to love?
Nujax will be playing alongside MSTRKRFT on Nov 2nd in Kingston, as well as there regular Friday night at Blug Dog in Montreal. If you are even remotely in that proximity I suggest you and everyone you know hit it up, it’s going to be LIVE.
