Ok Ke$ha you are getting pretty popular with this borrowed brand of trash you are marketing. I get you probably aren’t like this and that you are just doing whatever you can to make it big but I really don’t like you. Last week I was at a family dinner and my 9 year old cousin was singing your song, she was saying that she only deals with boys who look like McJagger and that she brushes her teeth with Jack Daniels, my cousin is going to be a dirty slut and I blame you Ke$ha!

My first question to you is what do you mean by waking up in the morning feeling like P Diddy? Waking up in the morning feeling like a rich black man who dated J Lo and once shot up a club? Is that what you mean? Please clarify because if that is the case I wouldn’t mind waking up feeling like that, hell, I’d be happy to wake up after those crazy parties you talk about without a head ache. I also read somewhere that the $ in your name is supposed to be ironic since you were broke as fuck even though you were on a number 1 track, (Right Round by Flo Rida) well that’s fucking stupid. Also read somewhere that you broke into Prince’s house to give him your demo, again, that’s fucking stupid.

Also you sound a lot like Uffie, I have no problem with people borrowing a sound and taking it to the mainstream, but Uffie is only really famous because shes really hot. She is pretty much a terrible muscian with no real talent, you guys have a lot in common yes, but couldn’t you have chosen some other trainwreck to emulate?

Oh god, words can not describe how much I hate you. This whole “it girl” party scene thing you got going on was annoying enough as it was, the last thing we need is more self loathing bulimics drowning their sorrows in drugs and alcohol with a smile on their face and a cock in their ass. Well, I hope you die out soon kinda how Uffie did. As nice as that would be I have a feeling you are going to be around for a while, if this is the case, can you at least provide us with a sex tape soon?

   I’ve never heard of Ke$ha or Uffie before. I listened to the track above and I searched out Uffie to have a listen and all I can say is…classy. I think nowadays a lot of people do prefer their women to be “self loathing bulimics drowning their sorrows in drugs and alcohol with a smile on their face and a cock in their ass.” Sad but there’s always someone willing to pay for it.

    Okay so… the beat: It’s really catchy. Nice tune. I liked it a lot. The voice: NOT that great. The lyrics? Cleverly put together, fun to sing along to but all in all the message behind it is very sleazy and stereotypical. You know, kind of like a good representation of a dirty party girl that has nothing in life to offer but to dumb herself down, party and to get 5 strangers laid in one night. And the video? Sucks ass. It looks low budget too. The first time I heard this song, my initial thought was that it was some city girl getting ready for some night life action in her apartment… but then i watched this God-awful video that showed me a wannabe hardcore teen that still depended on her parents for money but wanted to be rebellious by sticking herself on a high horse and dressing trashy. Kinda strange that it takes place in the morning too. To give her the benefit of the doubt though, I watched her interview with George Lopez… and found out that my suspicions were right. She had no class and acted stoned the whole time. I’d listen to the song only for the catchy tune. I’d love the song if it was just an instrumental.

    Honestly, I don’t think ANY of you can point fingers and say she “stole” or “copies” anyone’s style.
    You don’t personally know her, where she’s coming from, or whether she’s copying anyone or not.
    To Joule- First of all, she definitely DOES not copy Lady GaGa. Their styles are both pop-dance, but pretty much on different sides of the spectrum concerning vocals, lyrics, meaning, etc.
    And wtf, how can you say she acts black?
    And I’m not saying that I do either, but I least I understand that although not everyone will adore Ke$ha and her music, there’s not point in randomly hating on her.
    And if you say that Ke$ha copies Lady GaGa, and people say Lady GaGa copies Christina Aguilera/Britney Spears, etc etc, then couldn’t you say that a whole lot of other “similar” artists copy each other since many of the artists nowadays are not exactly “original” themselves either?
    & the fact that Ke$ha (she definitely didn’t BREAK into Prince’s house) snuck into Prince’s house just so he could take a look at her music makes me give her mad props. That takes a shitload of guts. That takes guts and dedication, seriously.
    And you really can’t piece apart her name like that. I don’t see you shitting on like, Bowling for Soup or Lady GaGa or whatever.
    If your nine year old cousin turns into a slut, well so let it be. I doubt Ke$ha will really influence that. She probably doesn’t truly understand the lyrics, she probably sings it because it’s a catchy song.

    I dunno about you but if I were to break into a house, I definitely wouldn’t just use a hammer and smash my way in. I’d do something like “sneak” in there.     If your 9 year old cousin is listening to Ke$ha and turns out to be a “dirty slut”, it’s 1)her parents fault for allowing her to listen to the music and 2) her fault if she doesn’t know any better than to do things because that’s what she hears on the radio or sees on t.v.(which is also her parents fault for not teaching her any better).

    I’m not interested in attacking this new “artist” but as a performer she isn’t bringing anything new to the table. The music industry will continue to put artist like her out there for the masses to accept and spend money upon. I use to get angry about such things but it will simply happen. When the mainstream is sick of her and her loyal fans continue to cling; when more established performers collaborate with her to help put her over she will simply be replaced by another talentless guy/girl with a hard-luck story and a decent producer looking to make the next club-hit.

    Yeah, every generation thinks the music of future generations is garbage. The only thing it’s wrong to believe is that there is only one right answer. What you love, like Muddy Waters would be terrible to my Grandmother’s generation… That being said… My personal opinion is that Ke$ha makes terrible music.
