I almost forgot about M.I.A’s pretty singing voice, her new sound is alot less about the production compared to her last album, which isn’t a bad thing. The echoe coming from this track is pretty awesome it blends perfectly with the simple beat to make a pretty sweet song.
M.I.A released this recently via her twitter account as a video. The video is pretty low budget but in typical M.I.A fashion she managed to make it a bit artsy with the use of interesting lighting effects. M.I.A has reported that she has finished recording her third studio album and that its more musical than any of her previous albums. Less about the gimmicks and more about the music, sounds good to me. Apparently Blaqstarr has contributed to the production, and of course Diplo and Switch, which points only to the fact that this album (rumored to be released as soon as spring) is going to be pretty sick ass.
