NeverShoutNever – What is Love? Album Review

NeverShoutNever What is Love? Album Review NeverShoutNever, also spelt as Never Shout Never, is the alias for American acoustic pop musician, Christofer Drew Ingle. According to an interview, Ingle explains that he would spell NeverShoutNever as one word when he’s happy and he would spell it in three words when he’s not. The album, What is Love?, was released January 2010. Prior to this, NeverShoutNever has had several EPs released dating back to 2008. What is Love? features whimsical songs that are poetic and, to say the least, emotional. His acoustic sound and soft-spoken nature is brought together nicely in this album which features only eight songs. The album has its ups and downs. It’s fun. It’s happy. It’s sad. It’s melancholy. It articulates his ambitions and his thoughts on life and love. He talks about his past and his difficulties growing up in his home town. This album is great for easy-listening music sessions where you just need an escape from the real world.

NeverShoutNever will be touring from mid-March to mid-August, partaking in SXSW, the AP Tour, Bamboozle and Vans Warped Tour.
