Portishead announces North American tour: October 2011
This is pretty huge: Portishead are going on tour this fall after years of inactivity. Their Toronto date is October 9th and 10th at Sound Academy… hey the 10th is my birthday! Hint hint. Pioneers of the trip-hop/experimental genre, Portishead has brought to us some gorgeous hits these past few years, and almost everyone I know has a special place in their hearts for ‘Glory Box.’ I’m betting these tickets will sell out soon so I suggest you get yours nowwwww.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow and the 16th, and early tickets are available through the Portishead site at $61.50 apiece.
