Hello, AWmusic-reader,
I’m both surprised and flattered that you’ve stumbled upon my bio page! I’m not going to write this in third person and pretend that I’m important enough for someone else to write about me. Also, I’m not exactly sure why this page won’t make paragraphs so you’ll have discern your own breaks in content.
Anyway, I am currently finishing up my BA in psychology at York University. I’m writing my thesis on legal decisions involving sexual assault cases which is a frustrating and fascinating topic. Psychology has always been an interest of mine but my first passion is English literature. I’m not much of a journalist (despite being the daughter of one) so I’ll apologize for the informal writing in all my posts. It’s either blog-style or academic with lots of flowery metaphors from me. I’m planning on attending law school after my undergraduate (so don’t be too mean to me, I will totally sue you because that’s what lawyers do when faced with conflict).
Musically, I’m all over the board. I started writing for AWmusic August 2008 and while my posts mostly veer towards indie/electro, I’ll listen to anything. I also love comedy, film and wacky news stories. I write a monthly column for Steel Bananas if you want to read more from me.
