The Jonas Brothers Don’t Know Shit About Ultimate Fighting
Nor does MTV. Here’s a quote of the MTV News article:
“I have a giant scar in the back of my head,” Kevin told MTV News, pointing to 19-year-old Joe. “This kid’s fault Eight staples later.”
Joe owned up to the beating. “I threw him into a wall once,” adding that Kevin got his revenge. “Then he threw shillings off of the house at my head.”
Although Joe and Kevin seemed cool to talk about the incident, Nick jumped to the defense of his brothers’ actions. “It wasn’t out of anger. It was like, when you’re brothers, you play.”
But Kevin revealed the true reason for the injury: “We were ultimate fighting!”
It’s pretty obvious what the goal of the Jonas Brothers was while trying to flex their wimpy muscles. They are trying to be cool and tough. Yet, end up looking like big douchebags. First off, it’s not ultimate fighting, it’s MIXED MARTIAL ARTS. Any real fan knows the difference. I don’t mind if you call it “Ultimate Fighting” as the UFC has a foothold in North America. However, you don’t say “I do Ultimate Fighting” if you were a regular martial arts practitioner. They set off the “obvious poser alert signal” here.
Also, “ultimate fighting” never entails throwing someone into a wall or throwing shillings (shingles). That would be pro-wrestling. Like Pro-Wrestling, the Jonas Brothers come off as fake or at the very least cheesy.
The Jonas Brothers will never be cool, it’s almost laughable how hard they tried with this one. As for the MTV news editor, maybe a title called the Jonas Brothers Don’t Know Shit About Ultimate Fighting would be more suitable title
. Instead they have the terrible titled “The Jonas Brothers ‘Ultimate Fighting” Champs?” which equals major face palm. I could take on all 3 Jonas Brothers right now (at the same time) AND I have a torn knee because they wouldn’t have any shingles to throw at me. (They might be able to beat me if they threw shillings at me, about a million of them
.)

Not that I’d claim much in common with the Jonas Brothers, but I’m afraid I don’t know shit about ultimate fighting, either.
